**Koa Kai Canoe Club** is a historic outrigger canoe club located at **Magic Island** in Ala Moana Beach Park. Founded in 1979 by a group of Honolulu Police officers seeking camaraderie outside the workplace, the club has evolved into a welcoming "Ohana" (family) open to the entire community. The club is dedicated to perpetuating the culture of Hawaiian canoe paddling and providing a positive environment for youth.
