**Island Jiu Jitsu** is a premier martial arts academy located in **Honolulu, Hawaii**, dedicated to empowering youth through the gentle art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Led by **Professor Jason Vigil**, a Black Belt who began teaching in his garage in 2004 and has since built a thriving "Ohana" (family) community, the academy focuses on technical excellence and personal growth. **Youth Programs by Age:** * **Children's Class (Ages 5–7):** A fun, high-energy introduction to BJJ fundamentals, focusing on coordination, listening skills, and basic self-defense. (Children as young as 3 may participate based on ability). * **Youth Class (Ages 8–15):** A more structured curriculum that deepens technical knowledge, introducing sport Jiu-Jitsu concepts, drills, and controlled sparring in both Gi and No-Gi. *Also offering a West Oahu location in Ewa Beach.* **Offer:** First week free for new youth students.
