About

Since 1948, the Honolulu Police Department’s Police Activities League (PAL) has been a cornerstone of youth mentorship on Oahu. More than just a sports league, PAL is a grassroots community program designed to build positive, lasting relationships between local youth and law enforcement. Guided by dedicated volunteer coaches and HPD officers, the focus is heavily on character development—teaching keiki the core values of teamwork, citizenship, and good sportsmanship. For parents seeking a safe, structured, and highly supportive environment, Honolulu PAL remains one of the most trusted resources on the island. **Program Highlights** * **Year-Round Sports:** Offers basketball, baseball, flag football, volleyball, judo, karate, boxing, and rugby. * **Age Groups:** Broad accessibility accommodating youth from ages 5 through 17 depending on the activity. * **Affordability:** PAL does not charge any league registration fees (individual teams may collect for uniforms/trophies), making it incredibly accessible to all families. **REGIONAL AREA CONTACTS** * Nanakuli to Makaha, please contact Officer A.
