About

**Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association** is a dedicated martial arts school located at **Mililani Recreation Center 5** in Mililani, Hawaii. Rooted in the local history of the islands, the school teaches **Kajukenbo**—a unique and effective self-defense system founded in Hawaii in 1947 that combines Karate, Judo/Jujitsu, Kenpo, and Boxing. Guided by the philosophy *"We are a Black Belt School,"* the program goes beyond physical techniques to foster deep commitment and character development. Instructors are dedicated to helping every student who commits themselves reach the rank of Black Belt, emphasizing that martial arts without philosophy is just street fighting. **Youth Programs:** * **Little Dragons (Ages 4+):** A specialized introductory program for young children. Enrollment requires a one-on-one meeting with an instructor to ensure the child is ready to focus and follow instructions. * **Youth Class (Ages 7–13):** Focused on discipline and potential. Students learn how the lessons of the dojo apply to real life, helping them improve their grades in school and become better citizens. **Location:** Mililani Recreation Center V 95-1101 Ainamakua Drive, Mililani, HI 96789 *(Located just off the H-2 freeway northbound exit, across from McDonald's)* **Schedule:** * **Little Dragons:** Mon & Wed at 5:30 PM * **Youth Class:** Mon & Wed at 6:00 PM; Saturdays at 9:00 AM
