**Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu (COBJJ)** is Wahiawa’s premier destination for youth empowerment and self-defense. As a **Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center®** under Gracie University, the academy offers the world-renowned **Gracie Bullyproof®** program, designed specifically to give children the confidence to overcome bullies without resorting to violence. Led by Black Belt instructor **Ryan Kauanui** and Brown Belt **Noel Kauanui**, the academy provides a highly structured, safe, and family-oriented environment. Unlike standard sport BJJ programs, their curriculum focuses purely on self-defense, teaching children how to "fight fire with water" by neutralizing threats and negotiating rather than striking. **Youth Programs by Age:** * **Little Champs (Ages 5–7):** Teaches foundational techniques through "Gracie Games," making learning fun while building coordination and listening skills. * **Jr. Grapplers (Ages 8–13):** Focuses on 33 non-violent self-defense techniques, including verbal assertiveness training to stop bullying before it turns physical.
