Serving the vibrant communities of West Oahu—from Ewa Beach to Waipahu—**AYSO Region 769** is a cornerstone of youth soccer dedicated to enriching children's lives through the "beautiful game." Grounded in the six core philosophies of the American Youth Soccer Organization (including *Everyone Plays* and *Positive Coaching*), this volunteer-run region provides a fun, family-friendly environment where character development is just as important as the score. Unlike highly selective club leagues, Region 769 fosters a supportive atmosphere where every child, regardless of skill level, is guaranteed playing time and the opportunity to learn. **Program Highlights** * **Playground & Schoolyard (4U–5U):** A parent-participation program focusing on motor skills and an introduction to soccer in a non-competitive setting. * **Core Program (6U – 19U):** The standard seasonal league ensuring balanced teams and guaranteed playing time for every registered child. * **Select / Extra Play:** Advanced programs available in Fall and Spring for players seeking a more competitive environment (Tryouts typically required). * **Seasons:** Offers a primary **Fall Season** (Aug–Nov) and a secondary **Spring Season** (Jan–April). * **Volunteer Driven:** Strongly encourages family involvement, offering free training for parents to become certified coaches and referees.
