AYSO - Kaneohe Region - 113
About
For decades, **AYSO Region 113** has been the heart of youth soccer in Kaneohe, fostering a "Windward side" community spirit where every child gets the chance to play. Built on the six core philosophies of the American Youth Soccer Organization—including *Everyone Plays*, *Balanced Teams*, and *Positive Coaching*—this volunteer-run program prioritizes player development and good sportsmanship over winning at all costs. It provides a safe, family-friendly environment where keiki from ages 4 to 19 can learn the beautiful game, build self-confidence, and make lasting friendships. **Program Highlights** * **Core Program (6U – 19U):** The primary competitive season runs in the **Fall** (August–November), featuring weekly practices and Saturday games. * **Playground & Schoolyard (4U – 5U):** A specially designed introductory program often held in the **Winter/Spring** (Jan–Feb) to teach motor skills and soccer basics without midweek practices. * **Select Program:** Opportunities for advanced players (typically 10U–19U) to compete in additional seasons and travel to tournaments. * **Volunteer Driven:** A strong community culture where parents are encouraged to train as coaches and referees to support the region's success.
