For nearly 50 years, **AYSO Region 100** has been the heartbeat of youth soccer in Kailua and Waimanalo, providing a fun, family-friendly environment where children can fall in love with the game. Guided by the six core philosophies of the American Youth Soccer Organization—including *Everyone Plays*, *Balanced Teams*, and *Positive Coaching*—the region ensures that every child, regardless of experience or ability, gets significant playing time and a chance to develop. This volunteer-run program fosters a "village" atmosphere where parents, coaches, and referees work together to build character and community spirit alongside athletic skills. Region 100 offers a comprehensive player pathway that starts with the adorable "Playground" and "Jamboree" sessions for toddlers and extends all the way to competitive 19U divisions for teens. Unlike club leagues that may prioritize winning above all else, Kailua-Waimanalo AYSO emphasizes good sportsmanship and player development, making it the perfect starting point for young athletes. With specialized programs like EPIC (for players with special needs) and professional summer camps, the region truly offers something for everyone in the Ohana. **Program Highlights** * **Playground & Jamboree (Ages 3-5):** A parent-participation introduction to soccer fundamentals in a pressure-free, fun setting (Saturdays only). * **Core Program (6U – 19U):** The standard seasonal league ensuring balanced teams and guaranteed playing time for every registered child. * **EPIC Program:** A VIP (Very Important Player) division tailored for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities, often paired with "buddies" on the field. * **Winter Season:** A secondary season (typically Jan–Feb) that extends play for motivated teams and players from the Fall Core season. * **Summer Camps:** Partnerships with UK International Soccer to provide professional coaching clinics during the off-season.
